Christian Antony Córdova Ramirez, eight years old, was playing near his home when he suffered an electrical discharge after contacting an illicit cable used to resell energy. One more time, the theft of energy took a human life, an innocent minor.

The National Police of Peru carried out the accident investigation detecting the resale of energy from a household located at Mz A Lt 29, Human Settlement Cumbres in Chaclacayo. The resale cable supplied energy illegally to two households. Such cable was deteriorated (bare).

It is important that the citizens become aware that this type of irregular connections for resale or energy theft present a hazard to people safety, especially to minors who are free from these criminal actions. Report these events to the National Police or to your electricity company.
