Vallecito is a shantytown located in the district of Lurigancho-Chosica, in the east zone of our capital. Its population is largely made up of low-income migrant compatriots, who suffer from lack of access to proper food, both due to their economic situation and the situation that affects even more our brothers who live in poverty and extreme poverty. . On the occasion of Christmas 2020 we had the opportunity to bring a little help and hope to families in Vallecito. With the raised money in the “Navidad en Vallecito” campaign, as a result of the generosity of Luz del Sur workers who once again collaborated with their donations, we were able to take nutritious food baskets to more than 400 homes in our community.
